  • Nancy

    Nancy Peters-Lewis, Executive Director

    Nancy Peters-Lewis joined the CCAC team as Executive Director in fall of 2014. Before joining the CCAC, Nancy was the Education Director and Community Outreach Coordinator for the YMCA in Battle Creek.  Prior to that, she served as the LCAN Coordinator of the Greater Albion College Access Network. Nancy is a Jackson, Michigan native and a proud alumna of Jackson High School.

    Ms. Peters-Lewis obtained her Bachelor of Economics and International Studies from Albion College, where she also minored in French. She continued on to acquire her Masters in Organizational Management from Spring Arbor University. Throughout her professional career, she has served in various capacities within government, non-profit, education, and business arenas; with a strong focus on providing equal access to programming for underrepresented populations.

    Nancy spends her personal time reading, running, biking, swimming, and enjoying the Arts.  She also appreciates the togetherness she finds with her husband and six children.

  • Amanda

    Amanda Norris, Special Projects Director/Advisor

    Amanda Norris was born and raised in Hanover, Michigan. She graduated from Jackson Christian High School and traveled north to continue her education at Michigan Technological University. In 2010, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology Management.

    Before she became the CCAC Office Manager, Amanda was the Program Director for YMCA's Kimball Camp in Hillsdale. She came to the College & Caree Access Center in 2013. Amanda also serves as the Social Events Chair for Jackson Young Professionals and volunteers as Sunday school teacher for the Westwinds Church Discovery Studio.  

    Amanda grew up on an 80 acre farm that she still maintains in her free time. To indulge her creative side, Amanda also enjoys quilting, crocheting, scrapbooking, and photography. Her other interests include: kayaking, horseback riding, reading, and studying genealogy.

  • Brian  

     Brian Green, College & Career Advisor/Marketing Specialist

    Brian Green is a Jackson native.  A graduate of Michigan Center High School, Brian continued his education at Eastern Michigan University, where he studied Language, and the University of Michigan; receiving his BA in Communications.

    Most recently, Brian returned to further his education at Baker College of Jackson. He is building core competencies in Human Services before acquiring his Master's in Psychology. It is through a Baker internship that Brian arrived at the College & Career Access Center. After the term, he was hired to assist in the Summer Melt Program; later transitioning into an advisor position. 

    In his free time, Mr. Green serves the Jackson community as a volunteer and mentor at Paragon Charter Academy. Brian is also a dedicated father who enjoys spending quality time with his daughter; particularly developing culinary skills together. Brian's other interests include: writing fiction and poetry, long distance running, and musical performance.

    Stacy Bell, Finance Coordinator

    Stacy Bell, a native of Kalamazoo, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Spanish from the University of Michigan, and continued on to acquire her Masters of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. Prior to joining the CCAC, Stacy worked for PNC Bank as a Treasury Management Officer and Business Banker.

    Stacy now resides in Jackson with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, attending college football games and spending family time in northern Michigan.

  • Whitney Pic

    Whitney Stoner, Office Coordinator

    Whitney Stoner is a Jackson native and Northwest High School graduate. Ms. Stoner continued her education at Grand Valley State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology and Masters in Social Work. Whitney was previuosly employed by the CCAC as a College & Career Advisor before taking a Social Worker position at the JCISD. Her background and experience make Whitney a valuable addition to our team.

    In her free time, Whitney enjoys the outdoors; traveling and playing golf. She also enjoys reading and spending quality time with friends and family.
